Bucket seat conversion
I'm looking for bucket seats to swap into my '83. Lots for sale, but really pricey.
I have to remove the seat anyway to get out the old ICU that's under it.
All ready know the basics of what Ford seats will bolt in w/or without modification. Anyone install non-Ford buckets in their '80-'86?

I'm going this morning to get some free seats. 2 Buckets from a Ford Focus, and a split bench from a 90's F-150. I'm hoping the buckets will go into my '83 F-150 without much hassle.

I want to say there is a post or 2 on doing what you want to do but never looked into it as I never wanted to swap out the bench seat.

I got the 'free' seats. Got them home and started working on the swap. I pulled the support frame off the drivers bucket to facilitate fitting. Also removed the original bench. That was a real pain!
