So you added the 6" block, correct? When you get around to it, can you measure from ground to the top of your tailgate when it's open? It's getting harder to lift stuff into back of truck but I still like a lifted truck. My 99 with a lot of rake is at 40". How much can I do before I'm higher. Haven't ordered truck yet but making an accessory list for when I do. Mainebucks love your Silver truck. Can you do the same. Thanks Guys.

If the '23 is similar in height to the 20-22's it should be about 37.5" ground to top of open tailgate, stock. My '19, is 38.5" without any lift and on stock tires, 2020+ sit about 1" lower.
A 6" block is 4" taller than a stock 20+ block, so my guess would be that along with taller tires should put the height close to 42".

probably a pretty good guess I can measure for him tomorrow too

Tou we’re pretty much dead on.
Tailgate is at 42.5” when folded down and measuring from ground up to the “deck height”.
Top of the bed rails was (if I recall correctly) 62.5”.
thankfully when ever I’m carrying anything large and/or heavy I’m using my dump trailer with a deck height of 28”. So much easier to load than even a stock height truck bed.
Thanks. Helps me plan. May be able to at least add the 3" block to a newer truck. I don't plan
to run any bigger than 35" tires so that will lower me some. When I was younger I did a 78 Bronco with 15" lift and 44" tires, probably couldn't even get in that anymore. LOL.

yeah that should sit you about 3.5” lower on both measurements.
even stock they sit high enough that loading anything real heavy is a pain and it’s easier on the back if you can use a trailer instead.
