Alright so i bought this 1992 F-150 4x4 for a hunting truck but it has some issues. I believe when whomever did the lift kit, they re-installed the stock coil springs on the front so the truck has a nasty rake/negative camber on the front wheels. Either that or you're supposed to take out the stock bump stop block from the rear leaf when you add a block. Also, if you look at the pic of my front suspension, where can I get the correct steering dampener? I have no idea who even makes this kit.
Whomever installed it also decided bolting it on wasn't good enough so they welded it. They also decided they were too cool for school and didn't fully tighten anything, didnt put bottom saucer washers on the old shocks, and used the same crappy shocks they used for the front and rear as a steering dampener. If you have any insight on the TTB lift kits or anything like that let me know. I am mostly trying to figure out how to fix the rake of the truck because my pinion angle is all sorts of jacked up.
I see pro comp shocks, might be a pro comp setup..or a setup the PO decided to just make at home...the rear blocks shouldn't have the oem blocks too, that will lower your back end 2", and might take out a lot of rack from your front end
ahhh well I dunno much about the TTB lift setup, but probably look at the middle, if its a proper lift the middle should ne dropped 3" to keep the TTB level, I can't really see the pics on my phone, so I'm just going off what my TTB is like. but the rear springs shouldn't have 2 blocks each..if it does remove the oem ones and it'll remove a few degrees of faster from the front suspension
your pinion angle is jacked up..just noticed that line..how far off is it?? I didn't see a picture of how far off the pinion is..but looks at the shackles, and maybe the springs were installed backwards, that can do it
