2004 X 6.0L 4x4 Limited with 175k on the clock. Looking to replace engine and injector wire harnesses. A recent engine wiring survey shows signs of cracks. I currently have no issues, but I’m a preventative maintenance kind of guy plus this is one of the last things I need to do to complete “bullet proofing.” Since a lot of you have done this, was looking for replacement harness recommendations.
I got mine off Rockauto about 3 years ago without any issues. A quick search for a harness for a 04, not sure which truck you have but RA has it for $283.99. Dont forget the 5% coupon.
The injector harness is readily available and inexpensive, but he also wants the complete engine harness unless I misunderstood.....that one is some cash and the one I decided to not replace and renew.

I wouldn't say it's inexpensive. Five years ago I paid $188.06.
Two and a half years ago my main engine harness was $455.44. I can only imagine what they are now....if you can find one. Best wishes on your search OP, and let us know what you find.

Yes I would like to replace the whole harness if everything comes in the whole harness as opposed to tracing down everything, cutting it out and rerunning pigtails.

Amazon has part# 3c3z12b637ba for $209. I can live with that. My local dealer has it in stock for $385. Parts guy couldn't tell me what is on\not on the harness.
If you're talking about the injector harness, the only thing on it, besides the two FICM plugs and a ground, is the injector plugs, as the photo clearly shows. Not sure what the confusion is about.
