Just curious as to how big of an injector can I go to without causing problems. I believe my Bronco has 19# injectors now. Is there any reason to go to larger ones? Would there be any performance increase just by using larger injectors? Forgive me but I really don't know a whole lot about fuel injection yet, but I'm learning. I think I need to replace the ones I've got in the Bronco and I found all kinds of ones on ebay. Is there a way to know which ones will fit my truck? I found some off a mustang 5.0 part number E6TE-A3B , and mines part number is E5TE-A3B (I think). Any chance these would work? I believe they are also 19# injectors.
You will want to stick with the same injectors that you have. If you go to a different injector without changing the ecm program for the different # injectors, It will not run right. The injector pulse width will be the same, but if you go with bigger ones, it will run too rich because the computer will be firing them as 19# injectors.

Fuel injectors would be the same between a 351 and 302, so you should have no problem there, as long as the flow rating is the same. There really isn't anything to gain by swapping in bigger injectors alone. They are just capable of supplying more fuel to the engine, but if the airflow remains the same, then the engine doesn't need any additional fuel. As lxman said, you'll also have to change the computer programming to account for the different size as well. I've also read that stock truck fuel pumps barely flow enough fuel for the stock 19lb./hr. injectors anyway.
