Battery Question

Hi gentlemen!
I need a favor. I am currently out of the country for an extended period and my son informs me my trucks battery is pretty much dead. Only the dome lights work. Tired to research this on a mobile phone has been a trial. I'm trying to verify my 2020 F150 Lariat w/ the 3.5.motor battery size. I'm getting H6-H7 and H8. Can anyone verify the size for me? I would appreciate it!

H7 94R. Even if it has an H6 48R, get the bigger one.

can’t you just take a picture of the factory battery and match it ?

I cannot sir. I'm out of the country and don't have access to the truck. I would like to know what size so when I get to a place with phone coverage I can start calling for availability. And have someone buy it for me.

It would not be unheard of for the battery to be going bad, but if this truck is used very little, and very short trips, it might just need a good charging. That is where I would start. Can your son take the battery out, take it to an Autozone, and have them charge it?

It would also be a good idea to use a battery tender while you're away. I use a Battery Tender Jr. on my Bullnose truck and classic Oldsmobile. It works so well I was considering buying a 3rd for my 96 Oldsmobile.

+1
We just replaced ours with the 94R. It fits nice in the tray, but I needed to slice open the battery blanket (insulator) and re-tape it to fit around the slightly larger-than-OEM battery.

also +1 to the tender.
