side view mirror spring assembly

side view mirror spring assembly

does anyone know if this part/assembly is available anywhere? It's the spring assembly from the inside of the side view mirror on my 94 F150, and there's a broken plastic part that surrounds the ball that allows the mirror to move. any advice is welcome!

I believe the OP is asking about a part inside the paddle style side mirror.

Hmm. Now that I actually read it, yes, mirror/adjuster parts. Not something I've dealt with. Could you post a larger picture?

I had that problem too. The plastic around the ball splits, and then every time I closed my door, I had to roll down the window and reset the mirror. I tried to take the mirror apart to repair it, but broke the glass doing so. So I ended up buying a used mirror assembly off eBay.
