Went to move the passenger side mirror out to the usual 90˚ to body position on my F-450 based RV. An almighty bang was followed by a flapping mirror assembly.
I removed plastic cap at base and the pressed steel 'tanged washer' holding the mirror assembly/spring up to the arm is busted, now mirror flops around and appears in danger of falling off.
Any advice on how to replace washer? I am concerned that I'll need special tools due to spring tension.
