Hitch Receiver Fitment

For the purpose of swapping hitch receiver on trucks, is an F250 frame the same width as an F150 frame? Both 1999

I don't know about width but overall the frames are SIGNIFICANTLY different.

Apparently the 250 frame is about two inches wider at the frame mounting points. I have a factory hitch receiver for sale locally and a potential buyer has a F250. He measured his frame bolt holes at 34 1/2" where the F150 hales are 32 3/4" center to center.

The '99-16 (edit: upon reflection, '99-07 would be more a more accurate statement) SuperDuty chassis is just such a different animal from the bubble body F150s
