This contraption would not work on my dog. I have an Irish Terrier (Not Setter), and he rarely barks. He mostly uses his nose and front paws to ask for things. He has almost human like facial expressions, that you can actually know what he is thinking. And he also nods. It was a little creepy at first, but now the family considers him a 4 year old toddler. He's also bilingual and understands English as well as Spanish.
