Fuel Additive?

Hey gang, I've been running Motorcraft pm22 fuel treatment in my '18 350 6.7, I'm wanting to change up to something better. Any of you running Hot Shots fuel treatment?
I know there's been numerous discussions on this, but when I search here even using advanced search I'd have to read for days to get through everything else that comes up. Thanks

When I use the advanced search, use "Additive" as the key word and select 17+ Super Duty and 6.7l forums it returns 34 pages (12 if I select threads). I didn't read through them but find these threads to be rather repetitive, with "this is what I use". Some only use that Motorcraft stuff and seem to like it.

Thanks, yeah I used advanced search with additive as the keyword. But it brings up every discussion that has the word additive in it. Was hoping for some current opinions.
I've been using Motorcraft pm22a pretty much since new, but was seeing what else was being used.

Just make sure whatever you buy doesn't have alcohol in the mixture. I like Howe's for the price and they offer a couple different versions.

I'm using Opti-Lube XPD after reading here and a couple of other forums. It was cheaper for me to buy directly from the company vs. Amazon. I bought the 1 gal size that came with two reusable 8oz bottles.

I’ve had my truck for four weeks, and hadn’t used additives until last night’s fill-up. I ordered the same Opti-lube XPD with long-neck bottles. I bought from Amazon… I will follow your experience next time.

It wasn’t a huge difference. It was $88.66 total direct. I’ve only had my truck for 6 weeks.

A fleet of power strokes use nothing but anti-gell, couple million miles collectively.
Don't have any issues

I’ve been using Stanadyne in my 2022 F350 for the last 3 or 4 months. I had no gelling issues during the winter, and the engine seems to idle / run much smoother to me.

I've been running Hot Shots EDT, winter currently and I'm happy with it thus far.

I started with OptiLube XPD when I first got my truck. Bought the long neck bottles and a gallon jug. After I finished with it I switched over to Hot Shots EDT. I can’t say that I have noticed anything different between the 2, and everything’s doing just fine so far. The one difference is the Hot Shots is quite a bit less expensive and the dosage is a smaller amount. Both seem to be just as “proven” as the other so I am just going to stick with Hot Shots. Besides this, I also run the Better Diesel FBC in every tank too.

Hot Shots for me after watching the above video. Pretty clear winner even if they weren't pure scientific tests. I use it for the Lubricity, anti gel and cetane boost.

Stanadyne on my 1999.5, 2002, 2017, and now on my 2022. Especially in the winter and when I have to use fuel that I don't have a lot of experience with.
