Oh yes. Terrible inconvenience. Like what, once a year? lmfao
LOL, YUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I believe the Winter Defense is new this year, I have been running Optilube for 10 + so its convienent for me.....to each thier own...
My experience with bio diesel is I get l.5 -2.0 less mpg. ( towing a 5th wheel)
I haven't done a cost comparison between using bio diesel and no additive
v.s. better mpg with no. 2 diesel and an additive so I can't say which is the better
choice cost wise.
I use Hot Shots in my diesels. I was using Power Service in the gray bottle, but I found that HS lubricates better, and is cheaper, so I switched. I should just use 2-stroke oil… (I have pre-emissions diesels, not the 6.7l PSD)

In a strictly passive emissions engine (think no SCR/DPF), hard to beat marine grade two stroke. Don't get the anti-gel benefits but a fairly economical way to add lubrication, I ran it in my 04.5 CR cummins and 02 7.3.
I run Hot Shot's Secret LX4 in every tank. I don't need anything else out of my fuel, just looking to make sure I'm covered in case I get "dry" fuel that doesn't meet the lubrication requirements of the CP4. I buy it by the gallon and refill 8oz containers that I keep in a plastic ammo can. I dump an oz in the tank for every 10gal.
Does anybody know if it would be detrimental to run PM23 in a warm climate, I have a lot of the PM23 and I would like to use it up. I figure it can't hurt but not help as much as the pm 22
