I installed a plug in which I can un-connect and take with me as I leave the truck I have broken certain wires under the dash so that it will not even crank (and run the battery down) if someone attempts to steal the truck by screwdrivering the ignition switch. Think the Revelco installation. Even if they drop the panel and see the plug missing they'd take forever to find what wires go where as I used the same color wires for all 3 circuits I interrupted. Overkill? Maybe, but they'll have to trailer the truck to steal it. So then I use The Club to just make that a little more difficult. It did that me an afternoon to accomplish the job.
And the other good thing is if you are monitoring FICM voltages, you know right away what you forgot to do.
And, if you use a DPDT (Double-Pole Double-throw) switch, and use the unused contacts to apply power to the horn (during cranking) , You (and everybody nearby) will know you forgot to throw the switch too!!
And being the crazy EE that I am, I would also use those unused contacts to power a latching relay so that once the starter is engaged, the horn will be powered until the key is turned off!
And by the way, I haven't done the mod yet! I move pretty slow nowadays!

This is what I did plus I pull a couple of important fuses and replace with dummies
Speaking of which, I just did this on a friend's 2006 F250. I cut the fuel pump relay ground wire as Jack suggested above. For reference, the light blue/orange wire is the same between the 2003 and 2006.
With the circuit interrupted, the truck will start and run for a second before shutting down. I tried starting it three times and it behaved the same every time. Wondering if consecutive attempts at starting is going to damage anything.
