throttle cleaning

I have a 1990 F150 XLT Lariat and it takes a long time to warm up, no matter what the weather is like. My dad said that I need to clean the throttle and the automatic choke, but I cannot find them. Any suggestions? Thanks

an automatic choke is something they put on carburated engines. even on a carbed engine cleaning the throttle or the choke will not allow the engine to heat up faster. installing a different thermostat in your cooling system would be a better choice.

Yes, thermostat is a pain in the azz on a 302, but a lot easier on the i6 or the 351.
Your thermostat could just be stuck open, and that could make it not warm up properly.
I'm still goign to sugest going with the stock thermostat temp thingy, because your's is probably just stuck open cause its no good anymore.
