Been looking for OEM take-offs, specifically for the wheel below. I think they’re the best looking non-chrome 18” wheel. I think the chrome wheels look better actually, but want no part of the coating peeling off at some point.
Ive never seen them in person, are they clear coated or raw aluminum finish? Any negatives about these wheels?
They are clear coated, and have a dark grey metallic paint in the windows. I run those for my summer wheels, and the chrome ones for my winter wheels. Both of them suck to wash or wax with all of those small odd shaped windows in them......
Plenty out there for sale on FB Marketplace. Should be an easy score.
Not in my area. Just happened to see a set a few days before Christmas in next town over. 2022 takeoffs with tires, 8,000 miles for $950. I didn’t need the tires so didn’t act on them. (Should have pounced).
They sold quick and now understand why. Been watching every day since then and closest sets are 3hr away and between $1,400 - $1,700.
Yeah, those look like my Lariat wheels, which I do like enough that I don't think about replacing them. First time for a truck of mine, lol
Only thing I would change is to have the gray paint be black instead...
I like those wheels, I think they would look good on my 2022 Black XLT. Now if I could just find a set cheap, near me. My XLT wheels are know to crack anyway.
I have this set on my 18 250 - love them! I had owned a '12 250 that came with "mud tires" when I bought used. A local Diesel shop had these wheels with tires from a brand new 2018 truck that got custom wheels. purchased the set for less than new tires would have been!
Moved the regular aluminum wheel off my 18 to the 12 when I bought the 18 and when to sell the 12. glad I kept them! They look great!
Got the wheels put on last week. Goon at the tire shop scuffed both rear center caps. My guess is he laid them face down and used them for a lug nut bowl Think I’ll keep the painted silver wheels for winter use.
Anyway, really like the wheels. Think my dog likes them too, he didn’t **** on them
