My 1997 f250hd 7.3 won’t start it just cranks. I replaced the fuel filter, alternator, and batteries in January and it ran fine until last weekend. I was trying to go to school this morning, I was able to get it to start and warm up, then it died in my driveway and couldn’t get it to start again. I just don’t know what to do?
(Update) I replaced my glow plug controller because it was throwing codes P1393 and P139, which didn’t do anything. Fuel filter is clean, fuel bowl is full, no blown fuses, haven’t dropped tank (hopefully I won’t have to). I don’t know what to look for I’m almost certain it’s a fuel issue (at least that’s what my buddies and I think). If anyone has any advice i don’t know what to do anymore.
Scan tool. Whatever the kids are using these days. I use Autoenginuity. Most everyone else uses something different. Need to see IPR duty cycle and ICP pressure. Is your glow plug system working?
*edit* my bad about the glow plugs. I forgot you said it started and then died.
