Thank you. I want to replace the front and rear bumpers with some chrome ones. She needs a little bling.
Body-color bumpers and mirrors would be good...but PLEASE, I implore and beseech you...no RWL, billboard tires! Or even worse, those ugly-***, huge diameter wheels with ultra low-profile, rubber band tires. Skip the Viagra lift kits, too. You scored one gorgeous OBS truck...looks great just as it sits...has an elegant, purposive beauty! I'd concentrate on under-the-skin powertrain upgrades...keep it a sleeper...under the radar. Congrats...keep us apprised as to your progress with posts and pics!
RWL Billboard tires... NO
22" rims with the rubber bands... HELL NO!
Lift kits... Not in my lifetime
Under body light kits.... I'd shoot myself first
Giant *** ear shattering stereo... I'd let you shoot me
Keeping it stock and classic. Thats what i'm about
Welcome to the forum.
That truck is a "nice find". Many of us here have owned / driven / repaired every brand of truck imaginable. Having a Ford truck is similar to working your way through a "Matrix".. You might have had one back in the '60's that you finally had figured out and as you progress to newer years you ask yourself "If it wasn't broke, why did they fix it" ?
Just rolled mine out of my shop after it was there for 34 days repairing trans and clutch. I must admit there were times when I would ask myself "Love it .. or .. List it" ?
First test drive to town, at the grocery store, a couple come out of the store and get into an brand new Ford F-350 PSD parked next to me. The lady rolled her window down and said "We love that old truck"... A long conversation followed. I won't be listing it... LOL
That F150 looks to be very nice. Straight and shiny. And usually the painted bumpers have the paint worn through--or rusty. But yours look to be in very good condition. Let's see the interior and engine bay.
