Evap noid question
I found Ohm levels here. 30-90ohm. It tests that fine.
Am I able to hit one side with 12V and one with ground to see if functions or will that kill it internally?
I do have 12V key on at it. I have yet to do test to PCM harness. Truck is smog exempt, just dislike codes.

Yes, you can test your canister purge solenoid like that
Yes, you can test the evap solenoids as well like that
Active command mode on the NGS does exactly that with a pids to monitor to see if they are functioning

Ah. P0443 code.
I found an older thread pointing out different tests, of which I have completed most. Last is the ground circuit to PCM. Will need to eyeball EVTM for PCM pin.
Valve has Ohm limits within range, but seems to not function when neg pin is grounded and positive is connected. Unless it is not audible

Purge valve resistance should be around 34-35 ohms. 30-38 are the limits. If it's over that, the valve has failed that test.
If that passes, the check the line back to the PCM for continuity and for shorts to ground and power. If those all pass, then it's the PCM.
