I've bought the AE reader and installed the enhanced ford upgrade-I'm trying to diagnose a problem that causes my truck to stall badly and make the CEL come on. Anyway after hooking up to my truck I'm not seeing any codes shown. I have not done a test with the engine running yet. What do I need to do to perform a "buzz test" or will the reader test the injectors anyway. I'm afraid this reader is going to be harder than I thought to use. My computer skills are lacking to say the least....I was hoping to at least find out why the CEL comes on.
Once the AE is connected to the truck and it identifies all the sensors, it should automatically pull the codes.
Once that is done, there is a bar near the top that you can choose the different type of tests to be done or simply monitor things while the engine is running.
