MAP Sensor Issue and Solution
Check engine light kept coming on without any noticeable change in performance. Code pointed to a MAP sensor. I had a tough time finding a Motorcraft part to actually buy so I used a Carquest brand. Truck ran fine with the Carquest up to highway speed and then ran like it had a
governor at 70. Unplugged the sensor and was back to full power. So back to an original Motoracraft MAP sensor when I can buy one.
