Bad 2011 6.7?
Hi everyone,
I'm in the market for a new (well, new to me) truck. I found one I like but I am concerned because I have heard some bad things about the engine. So it's a 2011 F250 XLT 4d with a 6.5 bed, 6.7, and 170k miles with an asking price of 17.5k, it hasn't been plowed or towed.
The truck is pretty clean and the rockers and cab corners are pretty good for new england. Not having a diesel before I am a little hesitant to buy it without consulting someone with more experience.
I heard that the 11-12's had bad turbos and glow plugs(which led to engine failure). Should I stay away from it?
Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated
