I put in some 08 Lariat seats and door panels so I decided to paint my 02 plastic pieces to match. I have some sample 08 trim pieces and they look tan/gray . The paint I got to match was Colorbond Medium Stone (653) and it matched pretty good. I thought I had a picture of what it looks like painted but I don't. Ill go out tomorrow and take one. I don't think it will come out right at night with the flash.
OK here are two pictures. One shows the trim piece in the bottom right with the color match, not the best shot. You can also see the pillar trim piece that is the original color of my vehicle.
This is a shot from the back. Its always difficult to tell how the colors match due to the different shades of light. It will also never be a perfect match. But this was the color that matched the best. My other option would have been going to a paint place and having them make it.
