Best engine degreaser

What is the best engine degreaser? I tried that purple power stuff and I didn't dilute it and it did nothing. I have a bunch of leaks im fixing and there's big layers of oil and dirt collected on the engine, transmission, frame etc. What's the best cheap engine degreaser that can get that stuff off, I don't want to get expensive stuff because I need A LOT. I used a pressure washer using a green nozzle with the purple power and it didn't help.

Engine foamy bright and full strength simple green are my go toos. Scrape off the thick stuff with a putty knife first.

The best is gasoline. Take care if you do, that stuff catches fire easily.

I've always liked simple green the best but it's not cheap either.

it aint cheap at $24 per gallon, but i pressure wash, than use pavepro.
it is made for cleaning paving equipment, but works great on the diesel engines as a degreaser too.
