Navigation does not work after sync 2 to sync 3 upgrade

Navigation does not work after sync 2 to sync 3 upgrade
Hello guys,
I have a 2015 f150 that came factory with navigation and the A10 sd card. I upgraded sync 2 to sync 3. When I did so, I bought a new screen and apim, the CarPlay compatible usb hub, a newer gps antenna, and the radio splitter for the gps antenna. However, my navigation is not working. And I need it because my phone doesn’t always have great signal so google maps isn’t always an option. I purchased the screen and apim off eBay, and I assume the seller programmed it to my vin because he said he would. However, after contacting him to make sure he did, he has not responded. All functions work except for the navigation. I’m not sure what all would work and what wouldn’t if he did not program it to my vin.
also, is the gps antenna even something I have to replace?
