This came out of a big truck. The odometer mileage goes beyond 99k. But everything else looks identical. I'm wanting a tachometer on my panel.

It doesn`t say what model of big truck it came out of.
a F-250 is larger than say a F-150.

I did a google search on the part number thinking I could
find a list of what trucks it fit...nothing, just a bunch of
clusters for sale on E-Bay....and they are very proud of
their clusters by the high prices for them. Saw one for $400.
PNP the Clusters are around $40+, but you won`t find F-600+.
Maybe LKQ has them.

I looked up a 86 F-600, and there are listings for this cluster
being used in the F-600, 700 & 800. That is why it has the 6
digits for the mileage.
That`s pretty cool you found them with the 6 digits.

Iam wondering if the Tach will work if these trucks have a gas engine?
More research to do.

Dang, now something else I need to find for my truck.

I know the Gas Tachometer won't work with diesel. I pick and pulled one and installed it and found out that way. Fortunately I sold it at a high price on Ebay and did just fine! 😂

I know the tachometer setup is different between gas and diesel. I'm guessing this would work for my f250 (famous last words...)

if you do not have a tach sensor or wiring in your truck, putting a tach in the dash will not work.

Yes, I would need to put a sensor in. I believe the wiring was standard but the sensor was based on the trim options. Correct me if I am wrong there.

I thought the wiring wouldn't be installed unless you bought the option. My Bullnose doesn't have wiring for cab lights so I scored some at the local salvage yard.

My 86 6.9 has the wires and plug that looks like it goes to
the plug for the sensor. Where the sensor would be is a
metal plug/cap.

I came across this 6 digit Spedo, but in KPH. $30 is a better price than the
$139 the one you posted up above.
Iam wondering if the Face of the spedo`s could be swapped?
