I’ve got two new motor mounts for a 300 I6 (from a 1981) that is going into a 1970 F250 4WD. Westar brand, EM2332 and EM2331.
The driver’s side one (2332) doesn’t want to fit. There’s a protruding arc of metal that hits the block where it “lips” out for the oil pan mounting surface. Has anybody else had this happen? I can grind it down, but seemed weird if I were the only one (unless the 300 block changed in some way related to this area and I didn’t know about it).

ultraranger, I didn’t have interference issues around the distributor boss, I double-checked just to make sure. As a side note, thank you so much for all of the disc brake info you’ve posted over the years, has been invaluable to me in figuring out what to use with the 78 front axle I have to swap to front discs eventually.
