So, I am trying to find some covers to replace the indicator lights on the dash. Im not really sure what exactly you call these, or even if they are still made, as I cant seem to find them anywhere. I have attached a picture to clarify what Im talking about. I am just trying to replace mine because they are pretty worn and nasty. If anyone knows where I could get new ones, that would be much appreciated, although I already kind of feel like its the same situation as finding a new bezel…. probably not gonna happen.
Replacement indicator lenses are not available that I'm aware of. Best bet is to get them from another instrument cluster bezel. I've had to replace broken ones in trucks before, and I've had to move the lenses around also when converting a 1981-1986 bezel to install into a 1980 truck. Just cut them carefully with a utility knife, and glue them in place. I used a little glue gun from my wife's crafts kit. Any time I found a Bullnose in the junkyard, I always grabbed the bezels just for spare parts, and several of them I restored and sold to people that needed them.
I also have not seen them so as Cory said find good one and move them around.
I think it was posted if you want just the colored parts hit up and craft store and get some of the colored see thru sheets in the needed colors.
They may have letters you could put on the little part before to glue it on.
