Oddly enough, I love the steel wheels on these. The city where I deliver mail has a fleet of these little guys assigned to the road crews, they are plain white with steelies and they are sharp.

 

Local dealer has one on the lot XLT hybrid. I don’t want a hybrid. Sticker is $26000

 

Pretty much just what I ordered, but I ordered the hitch & bedliner too. Same color.

 

My Bare bones Area 51 XL came in about the same time as yours Original order date: 11/9/21. I have almost 9K miles. HBY?

 

.My wife commutes it to work and back home mainly. 7334 miles. I changed the oil and filter at 2,500 miles. App says 48% oil life remaining. 3,800 miles remaining. So far. We love this little truck.

 

So why do you ignore this basic truism and throw away perfectly good oil? Does not make any sense from a logic point of view. I used oil analysis to extend my big rig Volvo truck oil change interval from 20,000 miles (conventional oil recommendation) to 130,000 miles using high quality synthetic. 14 gallons of oil is quite expensive, so I saved a buttload of time and money. My truck that I bought at 500,000 miles, I sold at over 1,000,000 miles, and it still ran great.
