Can anyone tell me why the the factory f350 cab and chassis drw rear sway bar won’t work? Installed one tonight and everything matched up except for having to swap the bolt direction on one end of the links due to the sway bar not being as wide as the srw bar. No clearance issue. Bar is level but I feel like there’s got to be a reason why it’s not a good idea as I have not found anyone else with the swap. All parts Installed came from the F350. My excursion did not come with one from the factory. 20 min ride after install showed much improvement on body roll.
Not sure who told you its not a good idea but they are wrong. I added a rear one on mine and it improved body roll as well as trailer control. Some say you dont need it but thats far from true.
As for being a 350 unit, maybe swapping the stud direction was why someone said not to do it. Who knows.
