My 2018 F250 with Sync 3.0 started doing the same things you described until my screen went dark. I tried all the fuse/battery/re-boot tricks to no avail. I ordered a rebuilt APIM from Ebay with factory NAV and the 3.4 update and after replacing the APIM, it fired right up and all the issues stopped.
