Need help understanding the differences between the 2 cab floor options during this year. I have a 1966 F100 2wd cab and it has a lot of work to fix all the holes and rust in the floor. I went searching for a complete cab floor option on the interwebs and all I can find for a complete replacement floor has the step up recessed door section. see pic. Since mine does not and you cant get LMC or anyone to give you measurements, I just don't know if it will fit well? I suppose it will as I have not seen any 64-66 doors that look different on the bottom section. If anyone has information, please let me know. The door area is the big question.
I think you'd be better off with the 1967-1972 cab floor. This has the same opening as the 1965/66 2WD trucks. My 1966 F250 4WD uses the taller step floor like you posted, so same year but used the other design.
The floor with the steps is all trucks up through 64, all 4x4 and F350 in 65, and F250 4x4 and F350 in 66.
Looks like you have a 66 F100 4x4 which is the only 4x4 that used the same floor (like the 67-72 floor) as the Twin I Beam 2WD trucks.
Post some pictures of your, always like to see photos of the 4x4s.
