Hello, I recently had a 1987 460 built. Builder estimates 500-600hp.
I finally got my engine back this weekend and while getting it ready to marry up to the Tranny (T18) I ran into a snag that at first I thought would be solved by a run to Summit. The clutch I bought ( Mcleod super streetpro 75212) the mounting holes on the pressure plate just wouldn't line up no matter how I rotated it. So I ran to Summit, with my stock clutch in hand and tried matching up the holes on a Mcleod 75211, the only other clutch they had in stock that is supposed to fit this engine. No luck, and after trying to figure it out for an hour or so with a guy at the counter, no luck. So I've been looking around the internet trying to find an answer to this. I also had bought a new flywheel, but it seems like the selection on a 180t is slim and my stock one was good and got refaced. The new clutch would not match up with the mounting holes on the new flywheel either so I just returned it as it didn't get me anywhere. i guess my question is, does anyone know what clutch kit I need to buy that will bolt onto this flywheel? Or any other suggestions?
The part number on the pressure plate I removed is Valeo AMC-03
The part number on the flywheel is D9TE-6380-BB
