I ordered from Napa Auto Parts a replacement clutch kit and the pressure plate looks very different than what I removed but the holes line up on the flywheel and pressure plate. Any thoughts? Should I worry? I haven't done a clutch replacement yet so this is kinda new...
Kind of off the subject but I just put a clutch and flywheel in my truck. That was the easy part. Boy putting that transmission back in was a job. That rascal is heavy!! I was doing it about as easy as possible too. Body is off and setting in the top with a skid loader and my 11 yr old son. Sure helps when the neighbor stops by and gives you another set of hands!

HIO Silver is on the way!
3x... the diaphram's multiple "fingers" have better and more evenly distributed clamping force. I hope the kit came with an alignment tool.
Great looking truck, I like it. I had one like that with all the dirt. Went and got some cheap Harbor Fright wet dry sand paper. I think 220 maybe 150 and wet sanded the truck. The dirt came off easy and left this cool old faded paint job with cool patina at least I thought so. The interior will clean up also--- heck you can always do a 100 point restoration if that is what you are looking for, nice foundation.
While the clutch is still out of the truck, confirm that your bolts will be able to be turned once they are put through the holes on the p. plate. I had an issue with that on a new clutch. Good luck.
