Heater/ac box

Heater/ac box
I'm missing parts on my heater box but the ones I find with ac are different than mine. The part is where the fresh air attaches to the heater box on the passenger side. My heater core is on the left looking at it under the hood. All I'm seeing is where the blower motor is on the left under the hood. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If you're just seeing the heater motor protruding into the engine bay, you have a dealer added AC. Dealerships didn't use the factory installation .... I think because it requires a hole in the firewall might near big enough to crawl through .... before supper.
The whole lip fits through the hole
Factory installed AC
I do not have a picture of the actual hole, but this fellow filled his with a piece of old sign.
I cut my hole long ago, before digital cameras even.

Do you have a heater only? If you have heater only, you should only have the end of the blower motor sticking thru the fire wall and the 2 heater core line nipples.
If you have the large box pictured in the earlier posts then you have a OEM a/c-heater. If not post a pic of what you have to help up figure out what you have.

Rich did a great job at describing factory AC, as always! If you don't have dealer air and have factory, here are some more pics, as I just tok my box out to service the blower motor and heater core. I will also attached some useful videos I watched to help me. If you see any parts missing in the videos or pics, tell us the time stamp you see them at or circle it in my pics and we can figure out what all you are missing.
Dealer A/C box in the engine bay
After removing cover on inside of the cab (passenger side under glove box). Evaporator is the first thing you will see
De icing switch and other wiring to the left of evaporator
After removing the plate the switches are on and the evaporator, the heater core is exposed and the blend door as well.
Blend door, inside that is the blower motor which will have the cage on it
The box out of the truck
Blower motor cage after I drilled the rivets out of the cover that is exposed in the engine bay

If your a/c dash looks like this one then you have the dealer installed a/c. Note the 2 ***** under the double vent.

If your dash looks like this one then you have the factory installed a/c and you should have the large plastic a/c box under the hood. The dealer installed a/c doesn;t have that large box under the hood. Just the typical standard heater blower motor under the hood.

Not particularly. They are bulky to ship. An entire setup may be worth a couple hundred in parts together. Not really an item worth retrofitting as they take up a lot of room under hood and require a large hole to be cut. It has been done but ac trucks aren't rare.
