Got all my new lines in rebuilt the back brakes, bled the back brakes no problem but the fronts won't bleed.. is the proportioning valve closed? any info would be nice
There is a small bleed pin on the proportioning valve, but most get the same results without pulling on it. Some feel it was mostly an assembly aid at the factory. I had the bleed screw tip plug up with crud, so maybe pull it all the way out and see if its plugged, if it is then go buy some new ones for a few bucks if that is the problem. GOOD LUCK
I already removed the bleeders and cleaned them all to make sure they weren't full of crud. how much is a new proportioning valve worth? will i be able to find one at the local parts store
