Front Cab Brace Replacement

Does anybody know if a new driver's side cab brace mount can be replaced without taking the cab off the frame. This one is rusted through and the rest of the floor pan etc. looks good. The entire front clip is already off the truck. Just wondering if the cab can just be jacked up an inch or two off the face and then put the new brace in. Any input would be appreciated.

It would help to know what year and type of truck you have 2wd-4wd. There are differences.

I know it is a 2WD. The truck is not mine, a friend of mine found it and it is in great shape all but that drivers side cab mount, my friend doesn't want to buy it if he has to take the whole cab off to fix the cab mount brace.

Replaced the passenger side on a 65' 2wd while on the frame. Not sure if you could do the driver's side. Eventually took the cab off anyway to do more repairs not that hard and much easier to do it that way.
