Yeah that is it, I suggest you pull the cover off it and look for damage or corrosion. If that is original and it isn't damaged it is on it's last leg anyway.

unfortunately that’s not mine. It was just the example of what someone showed me to look for in the truck. I didn’t have any luck finding one and have resigned myself to getting lucky at a loca junkyard for a temporary fix or just purchasing a remanufactured one.
The search for the correct ECM continues. After my last post I started looking on Cardone’s website. Using the engineering number the dealership gave me I found this part number, Cardone 789041. Rock Auto has it but it isn’t listed as working for the 93 year models, which reinforces one of the earlier posts.
