Looking for some suggestions for a replacement set of steps for my 5th wheel. I’m currently using a set of LCI Alumi-tread steps on it but I’m having issues when we get on campsites that aren’t level and the drop from the bottom step to the ground is to much. I’m using an aluminum single step to make up the distance but I’ve had it slip out a few times on our dogs and kids and now the dogs are reluctant to go down them due to having the platform flip from under them on multiple occasions. I’m looking for a set that will go all the way to the ground but don’t want to have to deal with flipping it inside the door when we travel. Primarily looking for one that will go under the door in the existing space where the pullout set goes. Preferably aluminum due to camping near the ocean and living in NY so dealing with salt is an issue year round. Looking to replace both sets so I can let the dogs out of the garage and main door and they hopefully don’t remember the issues from the last few seasons. Here’s a pic of what I have to do now with the platform when the sites are unlevel. You can see the drop off from the stone pad to the grass and how far the front and rear steps are off the ground.
Same company makes a 4 step version of your 3 step that I will probably get since I wiped mine out recently. Only issue is that it is 1/2" wider where they mount.
I think they will fit on the lowest set of 4 holes with some slight bending of the 'out riggers'. If I try to get them further up I think a weld may break.
I find them solid. And im no ight weigjt There are vidios on them. Wish u cpuld find some to phyically test ur self. By the time i bought mine b flation hit and like every thing i think saty. Good luck.
+1 to the Torklift Glowsteps. I've had mine for a few years now and they're great. I'm rarely in a campground so an uneven camping spot is normal. These steps take care of that.
Love our TorkLift Uprising steps. Ours do go inside but they are much more versatile to use. You might find that it would work well for you as we rarely have to fiddle with the step adjustment. They are very solid and well made.
We have the Glowsteps too. Love them. I put some non-slip sandpaper-like self adhesive strips on the front part of the steps but have since covered 4 of the steps with these treads.
Since we had the MorRyde IS put on the rig got raised a bit so we added one more step - pretty easy to do.
How much adjustability is there for the height on the glow steps? Here is a pic from another site when we’re in Myrtle and you can see that on a concrete site I’m about 9” to the ground from the bottom step on the front and about 12” on rear door. The 5th wheel is a 43’ triple axle with hydraulic leveling so I normally run auto level and keep it there unless the steps are way up in the air. Hoping that the next set of steps I buy will be the last steps I put on this. I replaced the original steps with these 2 years ago and wish I had gone another route to be honest. The original set had holes in them and I was worried about the dogs nails going in the hole when they were getting in and out which is why I bought the aluminum set due to them being solid.

The feet have about 4" of adjustment, then the entire set of steps has about the same amount, meaning that the point where the steps pivot at the top has three settings that allows you to make the steps higher or lower.

There are really good measurements of the rise and run of the steps on TorkLift's web site for these stairs. You can see the various models, the width, adjustability, videos, etc. You can even enter your rigs model and (sometimes) it will tell you which model of steps you need.
And when you mount them you can even position them where you want on the mounting points or just use the existing holes as I did.
