If you have ground continuity on the power mirror switch that should be good enough for the mirrors.
The lights ground at a different location so don't worry about that until you want to make all them work.
It looks like the connector on the fuse block where pin 18 is located is C242A. The Map, glove and underhood lights get their power from the exact same wire, so since your hood light works I wouldn't worry about the fusebox anymore.
I just noticed a note about the map light power supply w/o power mirrors... interesting. I haven't come across a note about map light power with power mirrors.
It only looks like there is one splice between the fuseblock and the mirror switch, your threshold wiring looks good.
If you have wire piercing leads you can check for voltage on the LTGRN/YL in the kick panel to eliminate anything before it, or just start backprobing until you find voltage or a good place to cut it and splice in power.
I appreciate all your help! I guess I need to find out how to reveal the wires in the kickpanel, looks like I got to remove everything to get to it
Is that mechanical damage or rodent damage? Weird spot, looks like it may have some corrosion.
Make sure you make a waterproof repair, no sense in fixing it twice.
Was that wire rubbing on the kick panel or something? Just curious what may have caused that
There was a lot of wet sand that I had to vacuum out, so I'm assuming from the corrosion that the main cause was water and maybe the rubbing of the sand?

I used a heat shrink connector and another heat shrink tube on top of that. Should be good now!
But now I know I need a new mirror switch as well, it can do all the movements but right lol.
The map lights still don't work. I'll have to figure out how to test the trim piece and see if that's the reason that they're not working now.
Crazy you posted I had a similar problem but with the windows not rolling and the door AJAR light and sound going off everytime I tried to lower the windows, turned out to have cut wires on the door harness specifically a large black wire and a yellow wire, I know it's not the same problem but it was a Hassel finding the problem as it was intermediate.

Yeah I've been there.. had to splice that black wire twice now in the door, not sure why that is the one that breaks but the 2nd time I just electrical taped the entire bundle and so far I haven't had another issue with it
