Some have reported noises from the front, and stated that the noises quit after tightening the 2 bolts located by the hood hinge, that hold the fender on. They swore the front end was loose before tightening those bolts.

start here. It sounds crazy but it is accurate

It helps to have the front off the ground to check for noises and loose bushings

Check the radiator support bushings Ii bet they are worn out and causing your noise, I have left mine go for a few years and now I have cracked radiator support. So check those out, mine does it more when it flexes to either side.

Truck is also pretty rough riding in front also I have new shocks all the way around It sits level but is diesel so is it possible it might need new springs or possibly spring bushings? How much do the springs reflect on ride?

You'll have to buy an entire kit for those bushings, I bought Energy poly bushings, you can also buy factory style rubber bushings.

Sits level? It probably has an add a leaf up front. That may be contributing to the rough ride. How many leafs does it have?

I chased a noise that sounds like what you are describing. Down by where the steering gearbox is mounted to the frame there is a blind rivet that looks sort of like a castle nut. Couldn’t see any movement, but it would “pop” when turning and flexing. Welded around the base and the top of it and noise gone.
Just one more place you might check, I would have never thought to look there if someone hadn’t told me about it.
