I noticed a few sites like Classic Aut Air, Classic Industries skip over the 1967 F100 for AC conversion kit. Should I assume its because the 67 is a crap shoot? Or has anyone here successfully install a kit in a 67. (I slightly regret ever buying a 67)
I couldnt find one specifically for a 67 on this site. I found this video of an install on a 67 f100. https://video.search.yahoo.com/yhs/s...3&action=click.
He calls it Old Air it sounded like in the video. I see those for sale on CJPonyParts. He deletes the old heater so it didnt look like he used the old heater controls. The unit had it own controls. I couldnt see a unit that looked the same on CJPonyParts. Maybe call them and ask specifically because they list them for 67-72.

TY! Great video. I already pulled the grill off when i installed a brand new wire harness. I already rebuilt my heater box, new vents, new rubber cab vent and have it all together... Think I am going to ride out next summer with his opening showing of fans installed in the cab!!! Then tackle it 2024. Thanks again!

My '65 had one on it when I bought it. I can't see there being a heck of a lot different between these year models. The underhood install requires quite a few special bits to source, like pulleys.

Ford used the same A/C bezel on 1965/67 F100/350's as the did for 1964/65 Falcon/Fairlane & 1965/66 Mustang.
This is a self contained recirculating unit that included the expansion valve and blower motor, with 4 round registers.
Dug a little more and found Vintage Air does a 1967 F100 AC upgraded that replaces the 3 control **** on the dash. Instructions are very good. This one is on the option list. TY all. https://www.vintageair.com/surefit/c...67&model=F-100

The three ***** on the dash control the heater, have nothing to do with the A/C
The A/C was a separate unit. The A/C switches were on the bezel that bolted to the bottom of the dash.

Yes sir. I was looking into aftermarket options. The Vintage Air aftermarket AC upgrade removes the OEM controls for the heater/venting and replacing them with wired control ****. This is a very clean look and gets away from 2 sets of controls for heat and AC.
