AC

I need to install AC in my truck because I now live in South Florida, and this is going to be my daily driver. Got divorced, and I have to sell my 2007 F150 supercrew. What is the easiest and most cost effective ac to install? Thanks guys!

Aftermarket hang on unit that mounts under the dash. But a complete kit for your engine. It will come with everything you need. It will all be generic designed to fit a multitude of vehicles but it is the least expensive way to go if going new.

AC

tgowers,I used the CAP 6772 model aftermarket AC from Old Air Products for my 71 F-100. It came with everything needed to install and the directions were easy to follow.Only thing I did different was I ran the AC hoses through the firewall instead of through the wheel well as directed in the directions also had to redo the position of the expansion valve so the hose would clear the air vent handle on the passenger side.Has been running for at least 10 years now and I have done nothing to the system at all, works great,my 2 cents worth. See pics in my gallery-album.

If you lived in north Tx I could hook you up. I have the complete system that I am thinking of removing from my 70.

I agree a complete aftermarket kit is probably the best bet. I've purchased lots of stuff from Nostalgic Air Parts and will buy more from them. They have a complete kit specifically for your truck.
