2001 f250 7.3 was giving me a code p0107 and my glow plug relay isn’t working I have wait to start that comes on.I had wired a red dummy light to the dash from my glow plug relay to make I start after red light turns off but no red light comes on so know relay isn’t working any ideas I deleted the code and it’s hasn’t come back I was thinking of buying a glow plug relay please chime in
Folks tend to go the hard way with the glow plug relay. Easy way is get a USB cigar port charger with a LED voltage meter on it. You get way more information about the system than just a light. Are your batteries good??? (12.6 volts or more when resting), system charging properly?? (14.0 - 14.3 volts) depending on conditions, did the glow plug relay cycle on and are most of the glow plugs on line?? (about 11.5 volts or so).
But the P0107 is a different issue. That is the Absolute Barometric Pressure Sensor... Low input if I remember correctly and it is to the left side up high in the engine compartment, it looks like a relay block. It may or may not be the real issue but check the connections.
