Was able to finally take the auto hub out in pieces. There is definitely some rust going on. I took a few photos but apparently I wasn’t saving them. Here is one that was saved to phone. What would you guys recommend me spraying those splines with to clean them up a little better?
Well personally I think I'd suggest pulling the whole hub off, cleaning it all off with some WD40 and a wire brush and replacing all the seals because obviously you have a bad seal somewhere. It wouldn't be an easy job and I believe would require getting some specialty tools to set the seals, but at least you'd have new seals to help prevent it happening again. Or you could just try to clean it ups as is, and put in a new hub, and get a new seals for the outside of the hub, and hope for the best.
I ordered the tool to help with inner hub seal. I did put the new lock assembly in and 4 wd worked in lock mode. I almost positive that the inner hub seal is gone. Is there a way to tell if those inner seals are bad? Thanks for all your help guys.

Well while you have everything together, you could disconnect the vacuum line to the hub, connect a vacuum pump to the hub, and pump it to pull a vacuum, if the vacuum holds, the seals good, if it doesn't you have a leak somewhere. After doing that the way to determine which seal is leaking would be to do a smoke test on the hub.

I purchased the tool and parts but have yet to actually do the repair. Now that I can manually lock my hubs in it’s not a priority but will get done eventually.
