Code C1185 power output relay failure 2003 Excursion
2003 Excursion 2WD 6 0
Im sporadically getting code C1185. Not all the time, seems like after i hit a larger bump in the road I get the ABS lighy going off. When i check it, its always C1185. Whats the fix? Anyone else have the issue? I have seen where some replace the front wheel sensors. I did just do my front hubs a few month ago, and the code came right after i did it. I cleaned both sensors with brake cleaner when I did the job, could that of F'd them up? Just curious if anyone else has had this issue so i know what to look for/where to start. The code is power related but, you are not to use a harsh cleaner on the sensors like Brake Clean. C1185 view single post click here

I didnt replace them. I have a 2wd, the 4wd is a hub, the 2wd is a hub but has separate wheel bearings mounted onto the spindle. The 4wd is a hub assembly that gets bolted on.
