Trans swap
Question about the 4r100 behind the 7.3 (or 6.0), does it have the same bellhousing as the 5.4 version? I'd like to get a beefier version that will hold out.
I went to check my fluid today after hearing what sounded like a low, hollow groan every so often & there was more glitter on the dipstick than fluid. 165k on it & I personally haven't added 100 miles to that.
Also, anyone know of a trustworthy rebuilder in CT? If prices are significantly cheaper going with a rebuild rather than a reman, that's the route I'll have to take. Either way it's sadly cheaper than finding another vehicle even with a cracked frame.

might just skip the BS and contact A1 transmission in Georgia Chris builds the best 4r100’s
