Keyless Entry / Keypad Issues
Help!
I just bought a 2013 F250 Platinum. I’m having trouble clearing the door codes, setting a new one, or mainly getting the factory code to work at all!
Pushing the 6/7 + 8/9 button together simultaneously will lock the truck and the lights all function correctly so I’m assuming the keypad works. I have the factory ‘key code card’ that comes with the truck and it shows me the factory code I need to use to reset everything. I’ve followed the steps via YouTube videos and other instructions but can’t get anywhere. Only thing I she Mt tried is using both sets of keys, simply because I don’t have both sets. Only one.
Mainly, the factory code isn’t working period so that’s my dilemma. The only thing I can think of is maybe the factory code was changed? If so, how do I find that code? Any ideas on what I can do to fix my issues?
