ReSet Ford Battery Monitor Sensor

I changed the battery on my 2018 Connect. i can't get the battery reset procedure to work. i was using 5 high beam flashes followed by 3 brake pumps with ignition on. What am i doing wrong?

You probably don't have BMS. I know the 2014-2016s did not have BMS except for the rare 1.6L Ecoboost.

FORScan has a function for the battery, if your vehicle is equipped with the BMS.
