I have a 2003 F-350 Super Duty Dually with a 6.0 Diesel. I started the truck and it was running fine (parked). All of a sudden, it accelerated by itself to 1000RPM. I turned off the truck and now it won't crank or start. Everything else works, batteries are good, starter is good. Any ideas on what could be the problem?
See if you get fuel filling up the secondary fuel filter bowl when you turn the key on.
Check fuse 22.
Turn the key on and verify that the back-up lights come on.
