This vertical piece looks like it will have to be glued down. The originals on my 72 f250 and part truck 70 f350 both have about 4 small rivets holding the vertical piece in.
Ive seen posts of them having to be glued in and not having to be glued in. I have the seal farther up in the tip now and it barely bows out. I think I will just glue it. Has anyone replaced these lately. These seals are from Precision.
